Pensioner terrorised in own home

Gardai in Arklow are investigating the break-in at a isolated house close to the golf club in Arklow.
Last Friday night at 8pm intruders broke in the door of the house while the occupant was watching T.V, the men ransacked the house looking for money.
When no money was found they seached the pockets of the man and took a small amount of cash, the three men who were wearing balaclavas fled when they tried to tamper with the alarm system setting it off in the process.
The pensioner was not seriously injured but was left very shaken after the incident.
