Harris welcomes €400m new investment in Wicklow broadband

Wicklow Fine Gael TD, Simon Harris has welcomed the announcement by Eircom of Phase IV of their Fibre Rollout.

“This announcement is fantastic for County Wicklow as Phase IV includes Arklow, Greystones, Newtownmountkennedy and Wicklow Town. This is a welcome development and opens up new opportunities for businesses, community groups and local schools.

“The provision of high speed internet is something that is much needed and will provide distinct advantages for Wicklow in the future.

“I look forward to the complete roll out of high speed broadband throughout county Wicklow but I welcome the continued progress in providing these services to the people of Wicklow.”
