Murder accused to appear at Cloverhill court today

A Wicklow man is due before Cloverhill District Court this today, charged with the murder of another man from Wicklow town almost two and a half years ago.
48 year old Clement Byrne with and address in Ballinatone, Greenane in Rathdrum was arrested last week after being extradited from Britain, on foot of a European arrest warrant.
Byrne been charged with the Murder of 26 year old father of three Steven O’Meara, who was last seen in Wicklow town on the 26th of August 2009. His remains were found on Christmas eve of that year in a shallow grave at Ballydonnell, Redcross.
