Hyland announces inter county retirement

Carnew's Don Hyland, has announced his inter-county retirement at the age of 39.
Hyland had retired twice before only to be persuaded by Casey O'Brien to return in 2010 and 2011 to help Wicklow win the 3B and 3A NHL titles in successive years and also reach last year's Christy Ring Cup final.

Had you been born in Kilkenny,cork or tip I sure you would have 4 all Ireland's senior medals!no disrespect to what you achieved with Wicklow,so fair play to you and hope to see you continue teaching your magic to the future don hylands of this great county.
