Then why not drop into the IT Centre and enquire about our classes. Come along and familiarize yourself with computers in a relaxed atmosphere. Avoca Camogie
At a recent meeting of the club it was decided that light training will be held on Monday nights at 7.30pm in the field in Conary. This will continue for a while until the evenings get brighter when we will move down to the field in Avoca.
Registration day has been fixed for Saturday 25th Feb in the clubhouse. Fee will be €30.00. The club are always looking for new members. Anyone interested in getting involved in any way either playing or helping out can contact the following. Kathleen at 087-232073, Mick at 087-1372585 or Bill at 087-2041353. New members are always welcome.
Active Retirement
The following activities take place each week in the Community Hall, Avoca.
Monday: Patchwork Quilting 7pm - 9pm.
Tuesday: Art Group 12.45pm - 3.30pm
Thursday: Art Group 10am - 12.30
Friday: Basic French 1pm - 2pm / Line Dancing 2.15pm - 3.15pm / Indoor Bowls 8pm - 10.30pm
Sunday: Tea/coffee - Chat - Board games/cards 11.45am - 1pm.
A series of "Talks" is being planned to take place during the next few months. Details to be announced later. There are also "Outings" to various locations and events throughout the year. Tea dances are held on various Sundays in the Community Hall.

Avoca Annual Outing 2012 - Please Note Date Change
The Avoca Annual Outing this year is to Donegal from Friday 29th June to 2nd July 2012. Three nights B&B and transport cost €250.00. If interested please contact Mary at Avoca Post Office Phone: 0402-35211 between hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Deposits to be paid before 29th February 2012 as there are limited seats. Supplement for single rooms €15.00.
Co Wicklow IFA Farm Family Committee Meeting
Our meeting will take place on Tuesday, 28th February in the Woodenbridge Hotel at 8pm.
The Speaker this month is Suzie Cahn an experienced Organic Gardener, and Sustainable Living instructor and she will speak on the Easy Way to Organic Gardening. This should prove to be of interest to everyone. New members are always very welcome so why don’t you come along and enjoy the evening.
