Revive Arklow Group "Be A Local Hero"
A public meeting that will take place in the Arklow Bay Hotel on Wednesday 22nd February 2012 at 8pm. The object of this is meeting is to start a group similar to the one that featured in the recent program on RTE Local Heroes.
Mark Fielding of ISME will be the guest speaker.
This will be an independently chaired meeting with some Guest speakers and an open form for you the public to get your ideas across. As you are aware, the town of Arklow is suffering as a whole with unemployment, and businesses are closing week after week. The main street is littered with empty premises for lease.
We can all sit back and watch it happen or take a stand now as a community and try to do something to stop it. So bring yourself your Family and Friends and all your ideas along because If we work together , we can stop it but we need to act now before it is too late.
Ask not what your town can do for you, but what you can do for your town. So Jot your Ideas down now and Come to this meeting and show your support.
