Baltinglass Karate Twins meet with President Michael D Higgins
Twins Pat and Tom Burke from Baltinglass met with President Michael D Higgins on their visit to Aras an Uachtarain with the Irish Karate team on June 20th 2012.
The twins from Baltinglass are members of the Carlow Karate club and will travel with a team of 38 athletes on July 3rd to Lithuania to compete in the World Karate Championships 2012.
Both brothers have represented Ireland before in the world karate championships, (Romania 2006, Slovenia 2008 and Italy 2008) Tom winning Gold and Pat winning Bronze medals in the games in Slovenia.
Best wishes to the lads and their team members in Lithuania.
