Blessing of the graves this evening at 7.30
The blessing of the graves in Arklow is still going ahead this evening despite the bad weather. It may not be the full mass as planned but it will go ahead at 7.30pm at St.Gabriel’s Cemetery.

Although it was lashing there was a massive crowd there and everyone had umbrellas. There was a lovely atmosphere. Fair play to the people standing with their buckets and holy water for everyone and they all had smiles on their faces for everyone coming in the gates. To be honest I thought it would be called off but I seen it here wicklownews.net and went, really glad I decided to go, it was a lovely service!!!
