Wellies required for Snow and Flo

With thousands expected to travel from Wicklow to the Phoenix Park today for the third in a series of gigs at the temporary venue concert promoters MCD have asked people to be mindful of the soggy conditions underfoot.

There were reports of some serious mud in the park after concerts were held at the venue on Thursday and Saturday.
Tonight’s show which includes Snow Patrol and Florence and the Machine, are completely sold out, and here is some footwear advice for those with tickets:
There were complaints after the previous gigs about a long walk back from the venue in the Phoenix Park, and reports that the conditions underfoot were very muddy.

After all the heavy rain and with another gig taking place tonight, it will be wellies all the way.
As with all concerts beware of pickpockets and do not bring valuables.
A 23 year old man was arrested following the stabbing of nine people at the Swedish house mafia concert on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, gardaí are also appealing for information on the identity of a man who was at the concert but died in Connolly Hospital last night.
The man, who was in his early 20s, sought medical attention at the concert, before being taken to hospital.
A post mortem is to be carried out later today.
