House destroyed by fire in Greystones
Gardai in Greystones are investigating a house fire in the town on Sunday morning.
Fire units from Greystones and Bray attended the blaze in Burnaby Court at around 2.30am.
It is understood the fire started in the downstairs sitting room, no injuries were reported.
Gardai made at least one arrest following a disturbance at the scene.
Meanwhile in Bray staff at the Martello on the seafront were being praised by the public for their quick thinking after a parasol caught fire on Saturday evening.
Pictures show John Duggan and his staff tackling the fire amidst a packed seafront.
One onlooker told Wicklownews.net "It was quite frightening people started to panic, it all happened so fast, the staff dealt with the situation and had the fire out very quickly."
