Bray Gardai appeal for information following sharp rise in violent crime

Bray gardai are appealing to the public for information following a number of incidents in the town over the past week.
On Monday night Bray footballer Kevin Knight was attacked and suffered a broken nose and jaw in the Old Conna area of the town.
It is understood the player will be out of action for up to six weeks.
On Wednesday night Chairman of Bray Arts Cearbhall O'Meadhra was attacked and robbed on the Meath road as he made his way home.
Cearbhall who is blind was attacked by a number of men who beat him with bars and stole his i-phone.
On Saturday night a number of men forced their way into the home of a man on the Seafront. The raiders bound and gagged the man before robbing him, the man managed to untie himself and raise the alarm around midnight.
At around 3am on Sunday morning a man received serious injuries after he was attacked outside the DART station.
It is understood the man may have tried to stop an argument between a man and a woman.
An eyewitness said the ambulance crew were working on the man for a long time he took a heavy beating, the town is gone mad.
A high powered black Audi car was also stolen during the week.
