These councillors don't represent the Wicklow public-Brady
Councillor John Brady has criticised fellow Councillors following a report in Saturdays Irish Independent which named Wicklow councillor George Jones as being the highest paid Councillor in the country.
Cllr Brady wrote on his facebook page. "What a disgrace, but I am not surprised as I see them falling over each other to get on committees and go on junkets."
"These Councillors don't represent the public or do the best for the public its about lining their pockets."
"Is it any wonder they don't want Sinn Féin Councillors around, because unlike them Sinn Féin Councillors are driven by the desire to give the best representation to the public and to change the system that allows these abuses."
"We are certainly not driven by greed or lining our pockets with public money."
