Robbery at beauty spa within Arklow Bay Hotel leisure facility
Gardai in Arklow are searching for a man after the Seabreeze beauty and day spa within the Arklow Bay Leisure facility was robbed just before 1pm on Tuesday.
The man entered the centre and inquired about swimming prices before entering a room and taking an undisclosed amount of cash.
Staff spotted him coming out of the room and gave chase, the man escaped from the Arklow bay area in the direction of the duck pond at the back of the premises and then turned to the staff member holding up a screw driver saying "If you come any further you will get this."
The man is described as being in his 30's about 5,4 with dark ruffled hair, light colored slacks and a bluish shirt at the time of the raid he was wearing a leather jacket which he discarded at the duck pond and John Lennon type glasses.
