Weapons stolen from Ashford gun shop

Gardai are investigating the theft of a significant quantity of firearms from a registered gun shop in Ashford.
Wicklow Country Sports LTD, situated in the Coolawinna Business Park, was raided in the early hours of Saturday morning last week.
Burglars climbed through the roof of the premises and fled with what is described as a "significant quantity" of shotguns and 2.2 rifles.
It is feared that the weapons are now scattered across Dublin and the surrounding areas.
Two of the guns were seized from a stolen vehicle in the Bluebell area during the week.
The investigation is understood to be "going well" and it is hoped that more of the weapons are recovered in the coming days.
